A survival text adventure played the way they used to be — by typing — on a period-correct 4:3 EGA monitor with a 1-bit PC-speaker beeper. A 10×10 wilderness, an @ that is you, and a ranger station that means rescue.

SURVIVE THE SYSTEMS, NOT A STORY

Water is the clock. Thirst falls every turn. Streams, canteen, rain.
Night is the wall. Eight turns of daylight, then killing cold. Fire, cave, or blanket.
The bear hunts by smell. Tracks and a growl are your only warning.
Weather changes the rules. Fog shortens sight. Rain douses fires. Storms forbid climbing.
Fourteen pieces of gear buried in the trees, each one a new option.
Three difficulties. Day Hike is forgiving. Survivalist is not.
